Dear Nuclear Industry Colleague
You and your spouse or guest are cordially invited to join us at the
Sheraton on the Falls hotel
in Niagara Falls, Ontario,
Canada for the 14th Annual Nuclear Generator and Supplier Executive Summit, which will
be held June 25 through 27, 2008.
The Venue
Niagara Falls has long been the major honeymoon destination in North America. In addition
to its romantic reputation, the area is quickly becoming the ice wine capital of the world.
If you've never been to "The Falls" before, this is the perfect opportunity for you and your
spouse to savor its majestic beauty. If you have been here before, perhaps its time come
back for that long overdo second honeymoon.

Getting Here
We recommend U.S. attendees fly into Buffalo
Niagara International Airport in Buffalo, NY. From there you can either rent a car or take the
Niagara Airbus Shuttle or the
5-0 Taxi Service for the 18 mile
trip to the hotel. At the time of this conference in June, 2008 the
U.S. State
Department will still NOT be requiring passports for U.S. citizens traveling by land
from the U.S. into Canada and then returning by land. Follow this link
for details regarding documents considered acceptable proof of U.S. citizenship in lieu of a
passport. U.S citizens flying into and out of Canada will be required to posses a valid
passport- follow this link
for application information.
The Conference
All of us who attend this conference have serious leadership responsibility within our
respective organizations. All of your stakeholders, both internal and external, look to you
to provide the vision and inspiration to take your team to the next level. This is a
challenge that we all share; and because of this common obligation, our conference this year
will focus exclusively of the role of the leader. Therefore, our conference theme for this
year is simply "Leadership; The Backbone of Success".
We will look specifically at the following topics:
- Leadership Within The Regulatory Process
- The Challenge Of Leadership Inside The Beltway
- The Leaders' Role In The Successful Supplier-Client Relationship
- The Impact Of Effective Leadership On Organizational Performance
- Establishing A Trusting Environment
- Industrial Safety- The Leaders' Responsibility
- Leading Your Organization Into The Constructive Culture
- Leading The Multi-Generational Workforce
- Supplier & Generator Executive Panels
We will have an opportunity to learn from the years of wisdom and observations of
Mr.
Frank Deford, noted NPR sports commentator and author, as he contrasts the ultimate
accountability of the head coach to that of the corporate executive.
In a casual, open and non-judgmental environment, we will candidly discuss these topics and
learn from one another so we may work more effectively together for mutual success.
As always, our entire conference experience will be informal and relaxed. We strongly encourage
spouse/significant other attendance and they are welcome to attend all social and recreational
activities at no additional charge. An enjoyable spouse program will also be provided.
If there are other senior individuals within your organization who would benefit from this
conference, please feel free to extend this invitation to them as well. Also, a few supplier
exhibition and sponsorship opportunities are still available if you are interested in
educating this group of senior decision-makers on your newest technology, services and
products.
If you have any questions regarding the conference or USA, please contact our Manager of
Administration and Finance, Ms. Marline Heathman at (913) 451-5641 or e-mail her at
marline.heathman@usainc.org. Sign up by
May 23rd and receive a special early registration gift!
I look forward to you and your spouse joining us for the most valuable industry conference you'll
attend this year- and enjoy your first (or second) honeymoon at "The Falls".
Best Regards,
Carl E. Parry
